Alhaji Isiyaku Abdullahi is an alumnus of the prestigeous Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto. He holds a
Bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters degree in Literature in English. He is a Chief Lecturer in
English at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi. He was at various times the Head of
English Department, Dean School of General Studies, Director of Collaboration, Affiliatikn and Linkages and Director of Academic Planning. He is presntly, the Deputy Rector and two-term member of the Governing Council of the Polytechnic. He hss served as a Resource Person on accreditation panels of the National Board for Technicall Education (NBTE) to many private and public polytechnics in Nigeria.

Alhaji Isiyaku is the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, Kebbi State and Chairman of the Board of Rayhaan Model Academy Birnin Kebbi. He is the Director of Educational Programmes of the Khadimiyya foundation for Justice Initiatives, promoters of Rayhaan University Birnin Kebbi. As a writer and distinguished poet, Abdullahi is the author of VOICES FROM AZUGRU, a collection of poems. He is a doctoral scholar in Literature and is a member of many professional bodies including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Literary Scholars Association and Association of Nigerian Authors . He is also aFellow of the Institute of Corporate Administrators of Nigeria and Advocate of the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria.
