“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJI‘UN! It is with heavy hearts and complete submission to the will of Allah (SWT) that we received the sad news of the passing of our beloved former President, elder statesman, and father to our nation, General Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at a clinic in the United Kingdom.
The Rayhaan University community extends its deepest condolences to the immediate and extended family members of the late former President. Our thoughts are with the family during this time of sorrow. We equally express our heartfelt sympathy to the millions of his supporters, countless relatives, friends, and associates who shared in his life of service to God and humanity.
We join millions in mourning a father and mentor, a great man whose life was marked by integrity. The loss of such a beloved figure is indeed a profound blow. Yet, we find solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled life. His exemplary conduct, remarkable accomplishments, and unwavering dedication to public service will provide comfort to his family, his supporters and our nation for years to come.
