Registry Department, being one of the key operational departments plays pivotal role in ensuring efficiency of a university system. The Registrar is the chief administrative officer of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of the University. He is also by virtue of that office, the Secretary to Council, BOT, the Senate, Congregation and Convocation.
The Acting Registrar, Rayhaan University Birnin Kebbi is Mal. Usman Abdulmalik Ngaski. His vision is that of:
(i) Ensuring automation of registry administration by leveraging on technology for effective service delivery;
(ii) Encouraging teamwork and trust within the University by ensuring harmonious working relationship between the Registry Department and other organs of the University with a view to achieving the core mandate of the University; and
(iii) Ensuring discipline to achieve the mandate of the Department by strict adherence to monitoring office practices and procedures, as well as safeguarding the privacy and security of academic and administrative records.
