Rayhaan University, Birnin Kebbi has been granted license and approval to commence academic activities by the National Universities Commission with approval for an initial offering of fifteen courses. These are as follows: B.Sc Computer Science; B.Sc Information and Communication Technology; B.Sc Cyber Security; B.Sc Software Engineering; B.Sc Physics and Electronics; B.Sc Microbiology; B.Sc Forensic Science; B.Sc Criminology and Security Studies; B.Sc Peace and Conflict Resolution; B.Sc Intelligence and Security Studies; B.Sc Mass Communication; B.Sc Taxation; B.Sc Finance and Investment Management; B.Sc International Relations and Diplomacy. The scope and number of course offerings will continue to grow.

This is the first private University in Kebbi State and is amongst the very few in the North West Geo-political zone. Rayhaan University is poised to commence operations in January, 2024 after the resource verification visit by the National Universities Commission from 9- 11 December, 2023.
