Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to
1. identify the needs of industry; and
2. recognise the role of a microbiologist in an industry.
Course Contents
Students will be posted to industrial establishments such as food processing, brewing, distillery,
pharmaceutical, research institutes, petroleum companies, petrochemical companies,
government regulatory agencies, medical and health institutions. A report is submitted for
grading.
