The First Quarter 2026 Public Lecture Series for Rayhaan University Birnin Kebbi, titled: “Money Without Borders: Cryptocurrency, Corporate Governance and the Future of Financial Regulation in Nigeria”, took place on Friday, 27th March, 2026, at the University Auditorium I, Take-Off Campus, Birnin Kebbi.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Bridget Fa’amatuainu, a Law academic at Auckland University of Technology (a public university in Auckland, New Zealand). Dr. Bridget was at Rayhaan University on a research fellowship visit. She is also an Academic Visitor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Cambridge Private Law Centre; and has been appointed a Senior Research Fellow in Law at Rayhaan University.
The colourful and well-attended session attracted important guests, as well as members of staff and students, and the media. Many participants also remotely joined the lecture
